Easypaisa enters into a partnership with DigiKhata

Easypaisa recently entered into a partnership with DigiKhata, a digital ledger service, which was instituted with a signing ceremony held at Easypaisa’s Islamabad Office, and was attended by senior representatives from both organizations.

As a result of this development, Easypaisa is going to supplement DigiKhata’s operations through the provision of their API (Application Programming Interface) for integration. This will allow DigiKhata to effectively collect funds from their registered merchants while also disbursing payments to them and related parties like their suppliers.

Regarding the partnership, Shahzad Khan, the Head of Channels at Telenor Microfinance Bank, said, “the country’s digital financial landscape is expanding rapidly. At Easypaisa, we continue to diversify services that we offer to cater to demands from both businesses and individuals alike.”

He also went on to add, “our API integration platform is a personification of our efforts to allow various organizations to digitize their payment collection and distribution. Our collaboration with DigitKhata is a testament to our mission to transform Pakistan into a cashless and financially inclusive society by creating value through the power of collaboration and technology.”
